C4I Prayer Calendar Feb-March ’24

“For He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone. You will tread on the lion and the cobra; you will trample the great lion and the serpent.” (Psalm 91:11-13)

Israel has been struck by a hurricane of hate over the past few months. First the horrifying attack on October 7th, followed by fury from much of the world over Israel’s self-defense. At anti-Israel demonstrations you can hear the worst chants about Israel. Everything points to an enormous spiritual battle raging around Israel. Because of this we are starting this prayer calendar with Bible verses about spiritual warfare. Psalm 91 is a good example. The lion and the serpent in Psalm 91 represent evil and the devil. Jesus refers to this psalm when He gives His disciples authority to trample snakes and scorpions in Luke 10:19. He promises that they will not be able to harm them. These words of Jesus, which show His great authority, form our starting point as we continue to pray for Israel over the coming weeks and months.
