SOS Ukraine: Rescue Flight from Ukraine
On the 3rd of April 90 Jewish refugees from Ukraine landed in Israel. They fled from cities such as Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Odessa and Kiev. Christians for Israel helped them on their way from Ukraine to Bucharest (Romania). C4I Aliyah field workers Koen and Ira Carlier joined the flight from Bucharest to Israel to be part of this special moment.
All these new immigrants (olim) will now go through the procedure of new immigrants in Israel. After this, many families will join the First Home in the Homeland project to help them integrate in Israeli society. Others will reunite with family members in Israel.
Throughout the Bible it is made clear that it is God’s desire that His people return to the land of Israel. That is why Christians for Israel has been actively involved in the return of the Jewish people from Ukraine and elsewhere for over 25 years. Especially in these difficult times, we continue to do so with our dedicated team. We feel strengthened by your prayers and support.
