Arab Christians in Nazareth

Pastor Saleem Shalash leads the Home of Jesus the King Church in Nazareth. His congregation gives substantial humanitarian aid not only to church members, but also to neighboring Jews and Muslims.

The assistance provided in Nazareth encompasses various forms of aid. Annual Pastor Saleem’s congregation distributes hundreds of food parcels to people living in poverty. Each package bears the same message: God loves you, and it is our desire to bless and support you. The church also distributes high-quality clothing and shoes to those lacking such essentials.

Furthermore, for Ukrainian refugees entering Israel since 2021, Pastor Saleem helps with basic necessities, such as meals, simple kitchen equipment, and heating unites.

Christians for Israel has been supporting the church of Pastor Saleem through donations over the years. This support enables them to continue their mission of blessing those around them. Jews, Muslims and Christians.

For many people, it may sound remarkable that an Arab supports the State of Israel, but for Saleem, it is only natural: “Israel is the only democracy in the Middle East, and it is a safe haven for the Jewish people, the growing Christian population and other minorities. Israel is the promised land of God, and He has a plan for His people.”
